Expert FDC app for iPhone and iPad

Expert FDC is a calculator that performs the function of a mortar platoon Fire Direction Center. The application captures the geometric relations of a plotting board and computes direction, distance, deflection, and range given a fire mission. The layout of ExpertFDC mimics the Standard Operation Procedure utilized by the United States Marine Corps and United States Army.

The initial release of ExpertFDC is meant to serve as a training tool for Marines and Soldiers. Development is ongoing and additional functionality will be incorporated on a regular basis. The tool was built by infantrymen and is intended for infantrymen. Your feedback is critical to the continued development of the application and for future products to come.

Things to look for in subsequent versions:
- Night time mode
- Entering fire missions by voice
- Voice-activated read-back of gun line data
- Incorporation of TFT data to compute elevation
- Ability to enter Forward Observer location
- Expansion to encompass a change in map section
